Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP)

ORP value measurements are becoming more and more important. It can be used, for example, to control denitrification processes at biological WWTPs, neutralization processes, or permanganate dose at water treatment plants. This measurement can also be used to monitor low concentrations of chlorine, chlorine dioxide or ozone in clean water. A basic requirement for reliable ORP measurement is to keep the surface of the electrode clean. In many cases, this can only be achieved by mechanical cleaning of the sensor, provided by INSA probes SPR41ME and SPO41ME.
