SPO41ME(K) Submersible Probe
This probe is mounted vertically or diagonally in open reservoirs, channels, pools, etc., usually using the MUT11A or MUT11B clamp, or onto another suitable bracket. The fixture in the included clamp allows adjustment of the position according to water level, as well as access to the sensors for cleaning and calibration purposes. The length of the connecting rod (L) is individual according to the customer's request, depending on the arrangement of the installation site and the water level. The maximum length is 2500 mm.
One ø12 (15) mm sensor and a temperature sensor may be installed in the probe. The SPO41MEK variant is designed for short sensors with a length of 57 mm. The active surface of the sensor is automatically cleaned with a brush, planchet or other cleaning element (multiple options, depending on the type of sensor). This feature allows the probe to measure even very dirty water with sediment formation. The need for manual interventions (cleaning) and associated measurement shutdowns is minimized, making the probe essentially maintenance-free. (Figure: Despite extreme fouling after long maintenance-free operation, the oxygen sensor membrane remained clean.)
